Sponsored Guest Features Move to Passport

The sponsored guest features of LAWN have moved to Passport. All guest accounts created on LAWN after 10/1/08 can be managed via Passport. The Passport sponsored guest features offer expanded options and features, including granting access to basic authentication and T-square, as well as delegated management of your guest accounts.

Guest accounts created on LAWN before 10/1/08 will not be transitioned to Passport; however the LAWN guest management feature will remain accessible for users with active guests. We encourage you to transition these accounts to Passport at your earliest convenience.

In conjunction with this move, the default limits on the number of simultaneous guests that can be sponsored has been raised to 5 (up from 3). Also, the maximum duration that a LAWN guest can be sponsored has been increased to 15 days (up from 5).
