Faculty and Staff may now sponsor guest access on LAWN

In conjunction with the FASTPASS coverage expansion Faculty and Staff may now sponsor guest access to LAWN. The combination of these services provides the full compliment of wireless access means for campus visitors, consistent with our guest and visitor wireless access guidelines. It is up to the sponsor to read these guidelines to determine which access method is the proper one for their guest.

Faculty and Staff may sponsor up to 3 simultaneously active guest accounts at any time. Sponsors are responsible for all online behavior of their guests. Guest behavior and usage should be consistent with Georgia Tech policies. In addition, sponsors are responsible for account management, including setting passwords, as well as re-enabling, renewing and disabling guest accounts.

To sponsor a guest to use LAWN, click on the "Sponsor a LAWN Guest account" link on the LAWN login page. To manage your sponsored guest accounts, and to create a guest account when you are not using the LAWN, visit the sponsored guest account management page.
