Security Notice: Worm discovered in wild affecting all unpatched Microsoft Operating Systems

Security Notice:

A worm has been discovered in the wild that affects all Microsoft Operating Systems that are not currently patched. The worm variant, Downadup/Conficker, attacks systems missing the Microsoft patch described in MS08-067:

Users are encouraged to patch their computers immediately and ensure that an updated copy of antivirus software is running on their computer. In addition, if you think you have been infected, please download the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool and run it to clean your machine.

Patches from Microsoft may be installed via Windows Update (Start Button -> Windows Update)
